01. How to Make Font Setting Book
•
Please refer this Font List when producing.

[Font Setting Book Production Step]
1.
Download “EN_Font List” file and “EN_Font Setting Book Example_Template” file above.
2.
Open the original file that was handed-in to you.
*Make sure to open all files and check if there aren’t any missing font types instead of checking front section.
3.
Firstly, arrange Conversational Style / Narration / SFX / BG Speech categories.
4.
Distinguish characteristics of each fonts.
•
Figure out similar font sizes to the original.
•
Figure out similar anglular degrees to the original.
•
Figure out atsmosphere of the Title.

Keywords: Modern / Slice of Life / Healing / Romance / Soft Atmosphere
5.
Select text from the front list that is similar to the original image.
** Please contact Caspin when determined that new fonts are required to be added.
7.
Please write the Setting Book as an example below after font settings.
•
Font name / Font size / Font spacing / Comparison cut from the original (SFX sizes vary so you could write something like “adjusted according to the original image”)
•
Long 1-2 rolls of example cuts to show font settings.
[Submission File Format]
•
Please save all PSD files as two types: PSD, and JPG.
•
File Name = 001, 002, …
•
PSD file standards vary from clients to clients. Please contact Caspin when necessary.
•
Please submit as zipped file after putting two folders (PSD & JPG) as above into [한영식자 테스트_홍길동(제출자 명)] folder.
Please double-check before submission!
1.
If the submission form has been well-applied (file name, folder name, etc.)
2.
If the submission file size is appropriate (horizontal size, resolution, etc.)
[Layer Arrangement]
•
Please arrange layers according to the guideline as an attachment after your work. (attached image - please note layer arrangement)
1.
Check if the layers are organised well (including background design).
•
Text: A collection of all dialogue layers such as narration, monologue, conversation, and phone calls.
•
Sound Effects: A collection of text and lettering (image) layers.
•
Speech Bubbles: Speech bubbles layer imported from the original file (image) and speech bubbles layer created by path operation.
•
Etc.: Non-dialogue and sound effect items such as building signs, restaurant menus, newspapers, magazines, etc.
•
IMG: Picture layers with cutouts.
•
Background: When designating layers as the default layer, set the same color as the background colour and adjust (if the manuscript background is white, set it to white / if black, set it to black and then set the background layer).
