â˘
Ensure titles and descriptions are not omitted during submission. Missing these translations is a common issue, so double-check carefully.
When Translated Titles Exceed 100 Characters
YouTube regulations limit title length to 100 characters. The editor also enforces this limit. If the title exceeds 100 characters, follow these steps:
1.
Adjust the translated title to fit within 100 characters in the following order:
â˘
Abbreviate
âŚ
Summarize the meaning while maintaining the intent of the original language.
â˘
Remove irrelevant details.
â˘
Delete some content to make it suitable for the title.
2.
In cases where there is even a slight risk of content omission or distortion of meaning during the above process.
â˘
Write the title within 100 characters in the title tab.
â˘
Provide the full title translation in the description tab without character restrictions.
â˘
Translate by adding the continuation in the description section with three line breaks in between.
When to Report Issues with 'Titles and Descriptionsâ
If the assigned task has issues that prevent you from proceeding, use the Dashboard > Report function.
Proceed with the Task in These Cases!
â˘
The title/description is already translated.
â˘
There is nothing to translate in the title/description.
âŚ
In the above cases, regardless of working hours, inform the PM via the Channel Talk Support Window by entering the basic details and selecting 'Other'. Then, continue working on the task.
â˘
The title translation exceeds the character limit.
Report These Cases Without Fail!
â˘
The title/description is completely irrelevant to the video content.
