General Screening is a type of application where after you can receive a master expert 1:1 feedback.

Whether pass or fail, we provide a detailed feedback on your test result.

You can sign a contract as a freelancer once you’ve collected the required number of passing stamps for the applied position.

Go to ‘Job Posting’ page to check current job postings that are open for applications.
2.
Click the Job Posting that you want and go the 'Job Posting Details’ page.
3.
Click the ‘General Screening’ tab on the right sidebar to take a test.
4.
Take the test using your 1:1 expert review ticket. To celebrate the tōtus renewal, receive one expert review ticket for free.
5.
Passing Stamps will be granted automatically after passing the test.
6.
Once you collect all the required stamps for the position, you can contract as a professional freelancer with us.

Upon passing a test, you receive a certain number of stamps, depending on the difficulty of the test.

Collecting these stamps and applying for General Screening earns you the qualification to work as a freelancer with tōtus.

Special Screening is a type of application that verify skill fast by completing just one test, and you can make a contract as a freelancer after passing the test.
However, unlike General Screening, it doesn’t provide any feedback on your test. (Even you failed the test, expert feedback won’t be provided.)

The tōtus rating system is a unique workmanship rating that takes into account the complexities of translation work. It is based on three key factors:
1. Work Competence: This includes the localization test scores at the time of registration as tōtus Expert or the quality of actual project.
2. Work Attitude : This includes the applicant’s work diligence and communication skills.
3. Guide Compliance : This includes the applicant’s compliance with references, such as Style Guidelines and Story Note/Design Note, as well as their ability to apply feedback.
This rate will be set when verifying skills first time, it may go up and down flexibly while working.

The rank earned upon passing the test is not fixed and may be adjusted up or down based on attitude and the quality of work.

What is profile completeness?
Your profile completeness will be scored as much as you fill in each item of expert profile.
Your profile completeness may reach 20% when you enter basic information after signing up tōtus, and it may reach 100%.

It is a Position that only review and evaluate translation or typesetting tasks professionally.
As an expert reviewer, you can earn evaluation fees ranging from ₩3,000 to ₩25,000 (KRW) per task.
Also, an Expert Reviewer doesn’t need to wait until PM (Project Manager) assigns you tasks, since an Expert Reviewer is allowed to access tests submitted by other users on a first-come, first-served basis, so you can conduct reviews based on your schedule flexibly.

We monitor the reviews of test results from ‘Free Trial Test’ on the top of tōtus homepage within the company to select potential candidates who evaluate diligently and objectively, and we offer a position as a ‘1:1 Expert Reviewer’ among them via e-mail.
